Whoops! A little late this week due to various last-second things cropping up, you know how it is. How is everyone's writing going this week? I've been bopping around between fluffy BDSM, psychological horror/angst, and epic sweeping battle sequences. So basically covering all my bases. *grin*

Lots of good work done this week, yay! I discovered that once I stopped complaining about it and sat down to write it, the big 30-person fight scene went just fine (it helped that I ignored about 15 of the people entirely!) The house is clean, my hands don't hurt (a silver lining to having to clean and not having my typing time), and despite that I still wrote 800 words in 30 minutes last night, which is a blistering pace for me! Well, this is going to have to be quick, because I only have a moment today in between five or six meetings, ugh.  My hand is doing better, but my writing has suffered for it (I'm trying to only write in half hour blocks right now).  I'm hoping that's a temporary loss to avoid worse long-term damage!  But I have gotten SOME things done, at least.   ( Read more... )
